Instow is a small town in Devon, England. It is located on the estuary of the rivers Torridge and Taw and faces Appledore across the river. It is within a few miles of Northam, Bideford, Horwood, and Westward Ho! and is one of over 300 towns and villages in Devon in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The nearest official cities are Plymouth (population 243,795), Exeter (population 106,772), and Truro (which has a population of 20,920 according to the 2001 Census).
Instow has a sandy beach along the riverbank and with its location close to many other excellent beaches and towns in north Devon it represents an excellent choice to base a holiday in this part of the West Country.
